# Token & Governance

## $TVVIX Token

$TVVIX is the governance and alignment token of the TVVIN ecosystem. It:

* Provides governance rights for platform and product-level decisions.
* Aligns long-term value through buybacks and distributions.
* Anchors the ecosystem’s strategic and financial development.<br>

TVVIN is currently upgrading $TVVIX’s role to further integrate it into the platform’s evolving financial and operational framework. The next iteration of $TVVIX will include enhanced utility features designed to strengthen alignment between token holders and the broader growth of TVVIN’s asset ecosystem.

As new categories of tokenised assets are introduced, $TVVIX is intended to play an increasingly central role in supporting participation, alignment, and value capture across the platform.

## **Governance Framework**

* Cayman Foundation – Acts as the steward of governance, ensuring decisions are made in accordance with defined principles and stakeholder interests.
* BVI Issuer – Manages token issuance, compliance, and future adjustments to token design or distribution mechanisms.<br>

This governance framework ensures a clear separation between oversight, issuance, and operations while maintaining flexibility for the platform’s ongoing evolution.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.tvvin.com/tvvix-token/token-and-governance.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
